Up for auction is this lightly used Corvette soft leather jacket. 100%  leather Black with yellow shoulders, sleeves and pockets. Cost $500.00 new. It's a size medium. The measurements are Shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 19". Armpit to armpit is 22". Sleeves measure 24" long. Jacket from bottom of collar down measures 26" long. Zippers work great. Porsche reports big drop in sales

Well, it’s not exactly a surprise, given the doom and gloom in the industry at the moment, but Porsche has just reported a 27% drop in sales, down to 34,000 units, over the last six months. As you would expect, some models fared worse than others. The recently updated Porsche 911, which has had mid-cycle tweaks including the new PDK ‘box, held up pretty well.

The New Saab 9-5 UK TheĀ startĀ of 2010 saw a flurry of stories on Saab as the battle lines were drawn to see who would grab control of GM’s troublesome Swede. Eventually – after many false dawns – that fell to Dutch maker of quirky supercars Spyker who – much to the amazement of all – seem to have a very cohesive forward plan for Saab. Forward plans are all very well, but what matters in the short term is making the most of what you already have.

After Alan Shepard became the first American to travel into outer space in 1961, General Motors executive Ed Cole presented the astronaut with a new 1962 Chevrolet Corvette, customized with a space-age interior. Shepard had brought along his own 1957 Corvette when he reported for the space-training program in 1959. Thanks to a special lease arrangement between the space men and a Melbourne, Fla., Chevy dealership, six of the Mercury Seven astronauts were Corvette owners.
