Built and first driven in 1973, over all winner of the Taga Florio, the car in this image is a tribute to German engineering and Porsche - Martini racing. The number 8 Super Carrera 911 won GT class at Vallelunga, finished 6th at the Nurburgring 1000K, ran Le Mans and Dijon and was still competitive at Laguna Seca during the 1998 Monetery Historic Races. The number 8 car was driven by some of the finest drivers of the last 4 decades, including Giis van Lennep, Jorg Muller, George Folmer, Mark Donohue, Reinhold Jost and Willi Kauhsen. GM to build Cadillacs outside the U.S.
Tue, 07 Jun 2011General Motors CEO Dan Akerson said Tuesday that the company plans to begin building Cadillacs outside the United States by the end of 2012 as part of its plan to make GM's premium brand a true global nameplate. Akerson said overseas Cadillac production would reduce the risk of foreign-currency fluctuations and allow GM to better manage its supply chain. Although Cadillac long has been sold in China and other international markets, it's produced only in North America.
Classic Ford Bronco bodies go back into production

Now, vintage sport utility vehicle enthusiasts can get in on the fun as well. Hemmings reports that Dynacorn—a company that already produces Camaro, Mustang and Chevy truck bodies—will add the Ford Bronco to its reproduction lineup.
